The European Researchers’ Night (ERN) is a large, annual public event, organized every last Friday of September across hundreds of European cities. This year it will take place on September 26th. ERN makes research and innovation accessible to the public by bringing citizens and researchers together through entertaining and educational activities.

Funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe Programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, the event aims to show the public how research impacts daily life, encourage young people to pursue research careers, and generally foster a greater understanding and appreciation of science.
